Television: Mind Control

Today, I'm keeping it short. Have the flu. It's not been fun. Let me tell you.

Anyway, I've posted a short video clip from the 1976 movie, Network. It's full of interesting rants. I thought this one helped my theme of how television puts a spell on us all.

Have a great day all and week!

Hugs and chocolate!
Shelly

  3. I remember this movie well- a worthwhile movie, a disturbing movie. This clip reminds us that TV has been telling people what they want to hear for a looooooong time.

    1. Yup. The truth is always in plain sight. So much so no one sees it.

  5. Peter Finch did a great job. When he got mad as hell he just jumped out a window. That is what I remember about the movie Network. It was great entertainment.

    1. Thanks, Lorelei. What's strange about this one, had a high fever for 2 days with painful lymph nodes. Fever is gone but the nodes in the back of my neck still hurt.

  11. Hi, Shelly,

Hoping you feel better very soon. I've got a little cold myself. My fourth this season! I am not too happy about it. Ah, the joys of winter in Chicago....

    1. Hi, Michael:

It's definitely a virus. It's Thursday and I'm still ill. Hanging on the sofa until I have to get ready for work.
